Kami is an elemental angel spirit of fantasy, and the spinner of dreams.  The light side of this beast is of a true blue, angelic sylph with lunar wings, and the dark side is as opposing as can be, as a vampiric daemon feeding on the very dreams they weave.

The Sylph's lunar symbol is of the moth, a spirit of the other side, who speaks for the parted, and the fallen vampiric symbol is of a scarlet spider, a spinner of dreams and feaster of life.  
Nuit Papillon's power as an ascended angel of light is to inspire the dreams that enchant people to aim higher, and to bring the dreams that aid in rest and emotional tranquility; as well as, prophesy.  But, as a fallen creature, Kami feeds upon those that the spun dreams enchant.  Still, Nuit Papillon holds the ascended power to inspire, through the miraculous sight of their exquisitely beautiful, awe-striking wings.  

As an elemental creature, Kami the Sylph loves nature, and the lunar and solar creatures that resemble them; these creatures of nature are  reminders of this Sylph's own beautiful goodness. When Kami's mind is upon light, they inspire love, but upon anger at destruction of simple beauty, they become enraged, and inspire fear through nightmares instead.  Kami the Sylph regrets this darker side, but knows that maintaining the balance of the shadows, the realm of dreams, is their purpose. Still, they prefer to inspire love; almost, with a fervor that is driven by a lust of fantasy. 

This creature was discovered by the Seer, and sought out by the Priestess.  At first the Papillon de la Nuit was reluctant to join such a troupe as the Covenant of Ramiel, but saw in it the beauty and light, that could aid Kami the Sylph in their constant pursuit to preserve their lighter nature.  A potential to vanquish darkness, and revel in love, became Kami's passion, and as an enchanter this sylph is quite an asset to the Covenant of Ramiel.

 Salutations,

As band leader and visionary of S-L-U, I feel I should discuss my influences, which are a combination of symphonic metal, visual kei, and punk rock. 

To list influences is always difficult, but this project is mostly inspired by X Japan, Lareine, Nightwish, Apocalyptica, Kagrra, and Patrick Martin Vauhn Stump, combined together we have created Revolution Punk and Konton Kei.  With the energy of X, the sounds and themes of Nightwish meets Kagrra with Apocalypyica, a touch of the visual brilliance of Malice Mizer and Lareine, and elements that bring rebellion, this is S-L-U. 

We have a story, a full orchestral type sound, dark gothic rock, plenty of decadence and mayhem, and elegance of ancient myth from each place and time.  We are the spies or watchers, that appear just like any mortal, but blood-parched and pale, the weary dark angelic nobles of time, that know of only one truth -- magic! 

Each player will bring with them more influence and artistry, but this is our basic image and sound, perhaps, larger than ourselves, but what fallen angel doesn't attempt the improbable just for fun.  With limitless boundaries and courageous spirits, we hope to show the world its own beauty!

"Mikasa Ackerman" by Muju

The Hero, a long forgotten damned adventurer, a semideus with the power to make music that brings healing, through his weapon of faith.  His faith comes from his virtuous heart when he acts divinely, or contrarily from the light of the phoenix stars.  His symbols are the heart and the star.  As a traveler in the Covenant of Ramiel, The Hero hopes to bring healing music and faith to the skeptical lost.  Caution is advised to those unworthy who get in the way of this immortal, for his appearances belie his age.  He is a vampiric creature, that can be as deadly as he is healing.

It was on an adventure to revisit his past, that this semideus met The Noble.  The Noble and the Hero were both visiting France during the early days of The Academie.  Upon admiring ancient Hellenic sculptures, the two gentlemen crossed the other's path.  After speaking for a long while, they made a pact to be each other's most trusted friend and confidant.

Priest of the Covenant of Ramiel, The Jewel, has two opposing natures.  The pure, divine Sapphire, and the fallen passionate Garnet-Ruby.  A warlock by nature, The Jewel often utilizes his power to overcome situations and turn them to the side of the lesser empowered.  As a fallen androgynous angel, he his driven by blood-lust and passion that encompasses all his being.  He controls his lust through his eloquent words and beautiful voice.  He is captivating and enchanting, impossible to resist.  Sometimes he sees himself mirrored as two distinct creatures, but most times he is whole, and powerful.  As a whole he adorns himself with a Ruby locket bauble and a stately Sapphire ring, when driven by one side or the other, he wears only the ring or the locket accordingly.  The Jewel joined the Covenant of Ramiel to inspire others to their highest potentials.  He spends his time singing of the many journeys he has seen among his friends.  His favorite stories are of love. He is true, pure, and despite his beastly tendencies, he is wholely good and of the best intentions.

Master of the Rosicrucian Order, an alchemist, a healer, and a courageous warrior, The Templar Paladin travels alongside The Covenant of Ramiel as a protector to the pure blooded roses.  The Templar Paladin carries a leaden spike as a remnant of his darker trade, and divinely he keeps the Rose Cross close to his heart.  He is a skilled magician and psychic mystic, that has long known the Priestess and The Noble.

When the Priestess discovered the Priest, The Templar held no hesitation in accepting the purity of the Priest's heart, and vowed as long as the Priestess deemed, they would show allegiance to the Priest and guard the newly joined member of the Covenant, as they have always guarded the Noble and the Priestess.  The Templar made quick allies with the White Rose, and the two never separate company.  They are the pulse and shield in every journey the troupe undertakes.

The Noble
An androgynous, vampiric, sovereign liege, that harbors the ability to sway anyone to their side.  A grand and graceful leader, the Noble has only become more enchanting with the knowledge and wisdom of the ages as they pass by.  The crown is the fallen symbol of this ascendant true blood; contrarily, as an angel this majestic creature carries a walking cane to represent his purity.  Vast in wealth and abundance, for they know where to seek it, the Noble sees that all needs of this liege's company are met.  The Noble was found by the Priestess to join Ramiel's Covenant, when their paths crossed on a foggy day in London, England 1888.  They admired each other's purity, and chose to merger their interests.  Be wary this cunning vampiric liege when he thirsts for the pure of heart, but know in the Noble's wisdom lies refinement and justice.
